This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) lists activities and categories that are not permitted on Bitoshi. It supplements our Terms of Service. Eligibility may also be restricted by our upstream payment provider’s rules and by the laws of your jurisdiction. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP.
Prohibited activities
- Anything illegal under applicable law, or that facilitates illegal activity.
- Fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion.
- Sale of stolen goods, stolen data, or counterfeit or infringing items.
- Child sexual abuse material or any content that exploits or endangers minors.
- Unlawful weapons, explosives, or controlled substances.
- Unlicensed financial services, Ponzi or pyramid schemes, or deceptive “get rich quick” offers.
- Unlawful gambling.
- Malware, phishing, or attempts to breach security or disrupt the Service.
- Intellectual-property infringement.
Restricted activities
Some categories may require additional review or may be prohibited depending on jurisdiction and provider rules (for example, adult content, high-risk financial products, and regulated goods). If you are unsure whether your business is permitted, contact us before onboarding.
Reporting and enforcement
Report suspected abuse to abuse@bitoshi.org. We may investigate, suspend, or terminate accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement where required.
